A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood!

Three years ago our lives changed for the better forever!
P had his birthday party this weekend and we got to celebrate with lots of friends and family. P's grandparents were all there and we even got to have P's great grandma with us for the afternoon! I'm always reminded on events like this how amazing our neighborhood is with sweet families, and wonderful kids. We sure have a good time when we're all together! P even got to have a friend of his from daycare over to play as well! He had a great time, and I'm sure by the looks of the pictures everyone else did too! Thanks for being a part of his special day!

Birthday Boy!

Easter Weekend!

I know I always say we have fun, but this weekend was great...nice weather, playing outside, got some landscaping done, indoor chores done (with a nice day off yesterday for Easter Monday), and just some over all good quality Family Time! Hold on, there's a lot!

P doing what P does best now...we can't read to him, HE knows how to read (so he says..). Love it...the teacher in me has waited for this day where he chooses to read on his own! I caught him this way one day!

Went out to the Legends for some Easter Egg fun! See below for the big let down on going to see the Easter bunny...have you ever seen such a sight?? I mean, where's the cute back drop for picture taking for the momma!!???

Here is E...very seldom EVER in the stroller anymore..he wants to be doing what big brother does....WALK!

Practicing with back light for all you photogs out there! I love something about this picture! Check out the peach fuzz and his hair! He loves his tuft of hair up there...he's a twirler! We went outside Easter Evening...it was a beautiful evening...so perfect. E is actually in no clothes because we are on our way to the bath, when we decided to head out to the back yard for some more basketball and outdoor activities! WE LOVE OUR BASKETBALL COURT! It has so many uses! :)

What a great Easter...thank you Lord for all you have done for us! We are blessed beyond measure!

Disney on Ice

What a fun day, just P and us! We got to take P out alone to the CARS version of Disney on Ice. We had a great time and P sure loved seeing the REAL Mater, Sally, and the official Lightning McQueen! He talked about it every day up until the day, and then it's all he talked about after! I love this age...they can tell you everything and it's so fun to get to actually "do" things with them when they get older! Little did we know, he was coming down with an awful virus that spread to both he and E! E missed 6 days of daycare, of course the next week when I wasn't off for Spring Break! E's virus headed straight to the ears, and had a horrible double ear infection. He's now scheduled for tube surgery this month! I sure hope it works as good as P's tubes did....here's a few from our day at Disney on Ice!

PS. Forgive these pictures...they were taken with my other camera because we couldn't take the big dog in Sprint Center...the first few are a little wierd on the faces! AY!

Spring Break at it's finest!

This Spring Break was a dream! We sure had a great time, and didn't really do much except for play, spend time with eachother, had our share of jammie days, and lots of running around. The weather was kind of rainy and cold toward the beginning of the week, but both Grandma and Nana came to visit so that was fun for all of us! I got more than my share of shopping in! Here are a few, I say "few", because with two boys, there are too many favorites! And how to choose!? Great memories, great week! :)

Our attempt at getting P ready and excited to potty train! His face pretty much says how he felt about mommy's awesome idea...we tried, and tried again. We'll try again this summer! That's how great it went!

And of course, E LOVED the potty seat! He thought it was a new toy for the both of them!

P did get a kick, literally, out of the new big boy pants! I told him to show me his new big boy underwear, so I could take a picture and this is what I got...such a HAM!

He's so excited! Excited for the underwear that is...doesn't have one interest in doing what "big boys do". Not sure that I do either...oh, summer, when will you get here??...I am about through with the "big boy" poopy diapers!
