My Almost 3 Year Old

These are the things I love....

I love it when you crinkle up your nose when I tell you to smile, you only like "picture time" for a short while.
I love it when you say 'mackers' instead of "markers", 'I wuv you', 'will you snuggle me mom?'.
I love your scary face.
I love the way you help your brother and think of him when I don't even ask you.
I love the way you say you are sorry.
I love when I catch you in your room at night with a book, you are so into books these days.
I love it when you want to go "pway" (play).
I love it when you look at the sunset and say, 'look at the pwetty sky mom, Jesus made the sky'!
I love it when you say your 'buddy cee's' (ABC's)...especially the 'no, no, no, no, p' (LMNOP) part!

These are just a few of the things I don't want to miss or forget! I love the fact that you are almost three, growing up so fast...you are learning so much each day! I love you bubs!

Image 24 Photography!

I had the incredible opportunity to photograph this sweet 9 month old boy and his family...they are near and dear to my heart, and have been friends for many years! He has killer blue eyes I couldn't resist, and I had to put down my camera at least two times to squeeze and hug on those cheeks! Thanks so much Matt for being willing to move furniture around...it was worth it! Enjoy your sweet sneak peek! You have a beautiful baby! You were all a joy to work with!

I am in the process of getting my website/blog (haven't decided quite yet) up...I may continue to post sneak peeks here until everything is in full swing.

Pretty in Pink

Today, I had the honor of taking pictures for our dear friends! Their daughter B was an absolute angel and made my job so easy! I couldn't decide between the black/white or color, so you get them all! This has been a busy last few weeks with actually designing my logo, and deciding for sure on my photography business name, but here we are! And I'm pleased...and so excited for what is to come. The name is Image 24 Photography. It comes straight from Joshua 24:15, where it reminds me daily, As for Me and My House, we will serve the Lord. It is my prayer that I serve Him 24 hours a day in everything that I do... If he has called me to take pictures, then that's what I'll do. It's something I am very passionate about and have been studying very diligently using my own two babies as practice over the last three years! I'm taking baby steps in building my portfolio. Thank you friends for allowing me to photograph this milestone in "B's" little life! She was a gem! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

And another...

Ok, I know there aren't any pictures attached to these last posts, but P is just saying things each day that I so don't want to forget....today's one liner, "I see blowin'". So stinking cute...on our third SNOW day in a row, we had to go out to have lunch with daddy...I didn't care where we went, but we were going somewhere. When we were walking out into the garage to get in the van he says this! His precious way of saying he could see his breath! I guess God gives us these sweet one liners to make up for their stinky behavior at times!!! Whew, today was a tough day, but it's over, and tomorrow is a new day. In the mean time, I will sneak up to his bed, and think about how precious he looks when he sleeps, instead of the onery, patience testing tot we have on our hands at times!

Also, for the record, E is now taking multiple steps in a row, I think today we were making it up to 7-8 steps in a row!!! I bet this time next week, we'll have a walker on our hands!

Talk

I just had to get this on the record, so I never forget it someday! Today P was just the sweetest...he had a great day, and was oh so cute with all that he is saying now. It's nice to have a conversation with someone now that he is getting older. Most of our day, he would say, "Hey mom (yeah when did that happen?), Come see this!". Tonight when daddy got home, out of the blue, he says to both of us, "when I get big, I'm gonna go see Jesus!" Let's hope not too soon! Can't wait to see you learn more my big boy! I pray that you love Jesus with all your heart, and walk with him for ETERNITY! I hope I'm doing the best I can as a mommy and am leading you down that path!

I'm back!!!

Hey there all!!! We are back, and I am back to work...sad, but true. I miss those little guys, and our daily routine of jammies, relaxing, trying to stay warm, snow, and just hanging out! We had a great break. I wanted to share with you a few pics of my almost one year old and my all time fav of the unedited traditional Christmas tree pic! Can't believe it...in two weeks, he'll be one...not sure where the time went, but yep, he did it! We'll have the Winter ONEderland party here soon, but I wanted to share a few pics from the pictures I took for his invitation. They melt my heart...and so does he. He's so into tucking his little head under my chin, with his arms wrapped around my neck and loves to just STAY there....he's a snuggler for sure, and I'm not rushing to get out of this stage by any means...I'm soaking it all in! He is so into attempting to talk, walk, and get into everything, but I just love it. His favorite word right now is "oh oh"! Too cute...and he also loves to just "oooo". He puts his hands out to us, and signals for us to come close. Like I said, melts my heart....I wish I could stop time! Enjoy!
